Thanks for this, Tim. While I was there, there was a constant undercurrent of Cambodia’s horrific history, and it was impossible to ignore. But much stronger was a powerful current of life: monks on motos, bustling noodle shops in the early morning, groups of middle-aged women practicing a zumba-like exercise by the river, babies, children, shouting tuk-tuk drivers, and pretty much everything else in the realm of human endeavor.
